August 13th, 2016 - Busy Week for TJR Racing
Competing with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA), Tony Jackson Jr. visited Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) on Monday for the Monday Mayhem. In a field of 28 cars, Jackson Jr. placed 5th in his heat giving him the 13th-starting position for the feature. Getting caught up in a wreck on the very first lap, Tony fell back to an 18th place outing.

Tuesday night brought the MLRA followers to West Liberty Raceway (West Liberty, Iowa) for the Coors Light 50. Logging another 5th place finish in his heat race, Tony earned the 13th-starting spot for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Dropping seven positions in the 50-lapper, Jackson Jr. registered a 20th place outing.

Returning with the MLRA Series on Wednesday, Tony was one of 21 cars signed in at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota). Recording a 6th place finish in his 10-lap heat, Jackson Jr. transferred into the main event with the 16th-starting spot. Slipping up three positions, Tony Jackson Jr. retired a 19th place finish. Running in the MLRA and MARS Racing Series sanctioned event, Tony headed to Junction Motor Speedway (McCool Junction, Nebraska) on Friday night for the King of the Hill double-header. Edging his way into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat, Jackson Jr. recorded a 16th place outing in the 30-lap opening night feature.
