July 27, 2018 - TJR Attends Clyde Ellis Memorial
Tony Jackson Jr. followed the Lucas Oil Late Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) to Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kansas) on Friday night for the Clyde Ellis Memorial. In a field of 19 cars, Jackson Jr. secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a 6th place finish in his heat. Starting in 11th, Tony ran into issues with his rear-end in the closing laps that prevented him from finishing.

July 14, 2018 - Top 10 Finish at Tri-City Speedway
On Friday night Tony Jackson Jr. visited Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned NAPA Know How 50. With 26 Super Late Models on hand, Jackson Jr. started the night off with a heat race victory positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Jumping out to an early lead, Tony held the top spot for the first 33 circuits until Jimmy Owens slipped by on lap-34. Hanging on to a Top-10 finish in the remaining distance, Tony Jackson Jr. recorded an 8th place outing.

The following night at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the event co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil MLRA, Tony posted a 5th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the CMH Diamond Nationals A-Main. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Jackson Jr. earned the 17th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win finale. Losing seven spots, Tony recorded a 24th place finish. (Heath Lawson photo)

July 7, 2018 - TJR Records a Pair of Top 10 Finishes With MLRA at Lake Ozark Speedway
Friday night found Tony Jackson Jr. back in action with the Lucas Oil Late Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) for the two-day event at Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Missouri). In a field of 19 Super Late Models, Jackson Jr. locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Chad Simpson. Rolling off 6th, Tony improved three spots in the 30-lap affair to place 3rd behind Will Vaught and Jesse Stovall with Jeremy Grady and Terry Phillips completing the Top-5 finishers. The following night for the $5,000 top prize, Tony scored a 3rd place finish in his heat positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the finale. Holding his spot for all 41-laps, Jackson Jr. logged a 7th place outing.
