May 26, 2018 - TJR Attends Show-Me Weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway
Thursday night brought Tony Jackson Jr. to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) kicking off the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tripleheader. Drawing a stout field of 65 Super Late Models for the Cowboy Classic, Tony was an early retiree of his 10-lap heat race after getting caught in a tangle. Needing to place 2nd or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Jackson Jr. passed eight cars to place 8th.

The following night for the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, Tony jumped up one spot in his heat race to place 6th. Sending the Top 2 out of the B-Main and into the final $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Jackson Jr. fell short with a 10th place outing.

Wrapping up the Show-Me 100 weekend on Saturday, Jackson Jr. had one final shot at the $30,000-to-win A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Starting in 10th, Tony brought out a caution on lap-6 after experiencing mechanical trouble. Using a provisional into the main event, Tony Jackson Jr. dropped two positions in the 100-lap affair to place 29th. (K.C. Shaw photo)

May 5, 2018 - Podium Finish in Land of Lincoln 40 at La Salle Speedway
After losing Thursday’s opener at Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa), Tony Jackson Jr. headed to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday following the Lucas Oil MLRA Series. With 28 Super Late Models registered in for action, Tony locked his spot into the opening night feature with a heat race victory. Rolling off 2nd, Jackson Jr. dropped four positions in the 40-lapper recording a 6th place finish.

On Saturday night at La Salle Speedway (LaSalle, Illinois) for the Land of Lincoln 40, Tony secured his spot into the A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat race. With $3,000 on the line, Jackson Jr. reeled in a 3rd place finish behind Will Vaught and Chad Simpson with Chris Simson and Billy Drake completing the Top-5 finishers. (Jim DenHamer photo)
