Fifth-place finish at Boothill

Behind the wheel of his Rocket XR1 Chassis No. 56 Late Model, Tony Jackson Jr. kicked off his 2022 season on Friday evening at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) for the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial. With 35 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries on hand, Tony followed up the second-fastest time in his group with a heat race win. On Saturday, Jackson Jr. secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. Starting in 10th, Tony gained five spots in the 50-lapper to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Tyler Stevens, B.J. Robinson, Logan Martin, and Brian Rickman to the checkers.
