Brief History:

Tony raced pavement starting in 1998 before moving to Dirt Late Models in 2009. He fell in love with the class and has been in it ever since, while still making occasional Pavement Late Model starts. In 2013 Tony became the first driver to ever win the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) and Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model titles in the same season.

In 2014 Tony claimed seven Dirt Late Model victories, along with 23 top five finishes and an impressive 36 top ten finishes. In addition, Tony snared the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model title for the second consecutive year.

Competing in a total of 47 events during the 2015 season, Tony Jackson Jr. reeled in five wins in his Midwest Sheet Metal #56 Super Late Model. With the weather affecting 15 of his scheduled dates, Jackson Jr. recorded 30 Top 10 finishes and sixteen Top 5 outings. He also captured his third straight Mid America Racing DIRTcar Series (MARS) points title.

During the 2016 season, Jackson Jr. ran in a total of 49 total events while reeling in three wins. Losing nine events to the weather, Tony posted 15 Top 5 finishes and 29 Top 10 outings. Tony Jackson Jr. also clinched his fourth-straight Mid America Racing DIRTcar Series (MARS) points championship.

The 2017 season saw Tony Jackson Jr. compete in a total of 54 events while visiting victory lane twice. With the weather determining the outcome of 11 of his scheduled dates, Jackson Jr. collected 27 Top-10 outings and 15 Top-5 finishes. He also clinched his fifth straight MARS DIRTcar West Series championship and finished sixth in the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) point standings.

Traveling to a total of 38 events during the 2018 season, Tony Jackson Jr. captured two wins aboard his Merrill Self Storage #56 Carget Motors/ Longhorn by Weaver/ Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model. Losing 10 of his scheduled dates to bad weather, Jackson Jr. recorded 21 Top-10 outings and 11 Top-5 finishes.
